The differences between the type of crimes and the punishments was astounding. I never knew or read how prisoners were handled. I was under the impression that redemption was the main priority with education being first in line. I am glad that Jeffrey Archer has written these accounts and also his account. He did not do as he was punished for but the entire process that he had to incur was crazy. One person found this helpful. What an unfair thing to happen to a perfect gentleman, to be in prison for something he didn't do. I am hopelessly unhappy, dejected and broken.
